Okay things make a little more sense to me know since BP spoke out and said why would he take the guitar back from GC in that condition. When that was first brought up I figured it was a little bit of politicking going on as lets face it GC has been a great outlet for EB and I figured okay its business, but after Sterlings remarks - not to be reminded-we know his Mother did not raise a fool lol. bischero I am just guessing that maybe one of the sales guys might of had his eye on the same guitar also with there working discount and the accident can probably bring it home for super cheap, then fill out the warranty and state he bought it and had a mishap. Honestly it could of been a salesman who had his eye on it dropped it in the first place, this is all just my take on things but I really am curios if CS gets a call from Jersey in the next couple of weeks about a buyer having an accident with his BMC Axis.

Just a few weeks ago i was in GC trying out some amps. I wanted to use the BFR in the platinum room to keep the guitar tone the same as my current BFR so i can hear just the amp. They had me give over my drivers license to take it down.


I wonder why that was allowed to even been on the wall in that condition.

We are looking into this. I spoke with the Store Manager. The guitar was put on a repair order and taken off the floor. They had not yet contacted Music Man to discuss the situation. The store has now sent us pictures and we are reviewing them. I will keep you posted as to the out come.

So GC calls me and offers the guitar to me for 1500 down from 1859.c'mon it's broken!! I would buy it for much less and then buy a new neck from musicman but 359.00 discount on a broken guitar is a joke.

Not to mention he said they may break off the headstock and glue it back on as a repair. Yeah I wanna pay 1500 bucks after they mangle the poor thing more.

My take is...if GC noticed it was damaged after being on the floor...they will be held accountable. Why go the shady way and send it to EB for "warranty" repair when it did not leave the factory that way. Seems like Glen is on it and it will work out the way it should. Honesty is the best policy....why blame EB for something they had no control over. Just my take.

I like the drivers licence idea, especially on something like a BFR guitar. I'm picky, if I'm going to spend $2000+ on a guitar I don't want some PB&J sticky fingered prepubescent kid coming even near enough to breathe on it lol
