Axis date of birth

Long time no talk. I am just wandering what 's the exact date if birth of my Axis as the guy who sold it said 97 ?

the number is 85727 with the old style music man logo on the neck plate.

Can someone confirm this ?

how many models where produced the same year ?

If i take a look at your post the serial number I gave you is supposed to be an EVH model

But I'm sure that this is an Axis model with a honeyburst finish

Can someone help me ?

But I really don't understand the way serial number are given.

aren't they sequencial numbers ?
