Just wondering if anyone can help a forumite out. I can't seem to find a set screw for my Axis Floyd arm and was hoping someone has an extra one laying around that they can part with. If not, can anyone give me a part number and a place to get one?

Thanks

I couldn't tolerate the inability to remove the arm so I just replaced the arm mount altogether. I needed to wear down the knurl on the lock nut but the bottom line is that it's easy to replace the mount, even if you go with a stock one. That might be easier than finding a set screw by itself.

Thanks for the responses so far.

That wouldn't work as I'm looking for the Allen screw that tightens the collar. Also, I'd like to keep it stock and not have to do any retro fitting.

Hit up CS and see if they have one you can buy. I had to replace a part before and that is where I got it from.

Thanks Koogs. I planned on doing that today and hope they have it, however when I tried to buy a trem arm assembly from CS for an older Axis, Billy said they were completely out (and since they have gone to a new design wont ever be carrying the older style) and only had the newer version. Luckily I was able to track down a nos trem arm assembly from a Guitar Center.
