I have a couple questions about the Floyd Rose that comes on the Axis. Are they good quality Floyds?. Is the bar a click-in or screw-in? Also, is the bar stiff? Will I be able to put it in place when I want it, then move it out of the way when I don't? Thanks for help, all.

1. It is good quality.

2. Neither click in or screw in (as far as I would describe it).

3. The bar "stiffness" is adjustable - you can put it where you like it.

The bar is permenantly (for the most part) installed with a screw on the under side of the trem. You don't put it in and out. And it will swing as freely as you want it to or be as stationary as you want depending on how tight you adjust it.

It's a great trem.

It's a Gotoh and is a very good design. If it was good enough for VH (who I believe had the second FR ever made) then it should be ok for us mere mortals.
