Is the ASS neck the same shape at the back as an Axis?

For whatever reason I thought the Sport I just got would be the same but its not. It's beefier, more rounded and not anywhere near as assymetrical,if at all.
I'm finding the Sport neck a bit of a handful and a bit too meaty in all honesty.
I keep going between the Axis and the Sport & then the Axis and one of the Silos and I find it much easier with the second pair which surprised me.

so is the ASS neck more like the regular Axis or the Sport? Sorry but I dont see any I can try in Glasgow right now to make the comparison.

thanks

All Axis necks are the same carve, but they're hand sanded, so there are slight differences between them. Still, they all come off the same machine with the same initial cut, so you wouldn't expect them to be that different... Of my six Axes, I notice very slight differences between a few of them, but they are all most definitely the same neck carve... and I don't like the Silhouette carve much myself...

thanks Jimi. maybe part of it is just the newness of the guitar(to me) and being unfamiliar with it but I can see and feel that the bass side is the same,it's the treble side that isnt dressed away like the other guitar.its a comfy neck, just bigger feeling.maybe I'll not notice it this time next week.
