Here are some pics of my 2 previous Axis guitars, as well as my new one. Should've kept them all.

My first, trans gold. Look at that nice top.

My second, trans blue (forgot the proper color name). This one had some issues, and rather than address them, I just sold it. What a beauty though.

And lastly, my current one. I think I have learned my lesson; when financially strapped, sell something besides the guitars.

All three were beauties. I see you are in California and I am not sure how the climate is in Sacramento but that plays a big part in fret sprout. Some years back I had bought 2 Peavey Wolfgangs about a year apart on ebay from the Arizona area and both were mint and came with fret sprout. I am in NY and took my friend and techs advice and just left the first one I bought alone in its case for a few months and it just went away. So when I got the second I did the same thing and had the same results, and in over 5 years at least it has never returned.

I was wondering if anyone can pinpoint the correct name on the old EBMM EVHs as my first one I always call the color Amber but it looks more like the Trans Gold above. I am just wondering the correct name as I was not a Ball fanatic when I bought it way back when.
