Axis pickups - ASS same as Axis?

Just curious...are the 'Axis' pickups the same as the 'Axis Super Sport' pickups? (it's just one uses a 5 way and the other is a 3 way)?

I love my Super Sport, and was thinking about buying some extra Axis pickups on ebay - but wanted to make sure an 'Axis' pickup would sound like my Super Sport (and could be used w/a 5 way switch).
