The first 30 seconds of that video were so tense for me.

Watched it again, looks like an Axis.

As for spud don't worry. When I saw this ages ago I thought her playing was rather stiff. If she enjoyed it more it would have reflected in her playing as well. She was probably nervous to be honest.

I still amuses me how chauvinist we all are about this?
we are all still like "...BUT DUDE ITS A GIRL!!!..."
lol...

I was pondering over what Axis I was taking to jam night tonight and she has just inspired me to take my Axis rather than my Supersport.

There are a bunch of videos of her on youtube; she really is very good. Very proper Japanese; concentrate on the craft and don't show emotion-that is common over there; they put so much pride in making sure things are done right. I am of the school of thought that, to paraphrase DLR, I PLAY my guitar; I am not all that concerned with techinical accuracy, etc., just have fun. Not to say I just sit up there and slop all the time, but I am not worried about a bad note here and there.

And the miniskirt thing works for me, always has. I remember playing in the late 80's and early 90's and being so distracted by the girls in those things..........ah, the glory years. :)
