Hi
my serial is 88832, please tell me what is the D.O.B. and the original color.
It has one knob called TONE. Is it normal? I heard that EVHs had volume knob which was called tone, but on axises they called it volume.
Thanks, Mark

Jon will be around to get you DOB and color info...

EVH's models had "tone" knobs. Axis models have the appropriate "Volume"...I assume you got this used? Sounds like someone may have switched it out...

Yes I bought it used. The original owner said its DOB is 1996.
I like it very much, it is my first Music Man but hopefully it isn't the last:-).

Sorry for my bad english, I am Hungarian.

Welcome to the addiction! Believe me....it won't be your last...hhehehehe....and I can read your postings just fine.... :D Again, welcome to the forum!!

Jon, I think you forgot to give me the DOB and color information.
Please write it to me!
Thanks Mark

You didn't bump the thread...Now I am home sick. I will be at work tomorrow, and I will try to remember to look it up.

...you're home sick because he didn't bump the thread? ;)

Sorry, man....just playin on words. Hope you're feeling better soon, big guy!

Oh yes, I really forget to bump the tread, sorry.

I hope you get better!

I put 10-46 elixir strings on my guitar, and it sounds very good. :D

I have a question again.
I maintained my guitars neck with gunstock oil, and it is very beautiful know :) , but I realized that I can see where the fretboard was glued to the neck. I don't remember seeing it before the maintaining, but I am not sure. There isn't a crack or hole, only a pale straight line, it looks like a dirt line. Is it a problem, or it is normally can be seen?

Trans Gold 7/10/96 Don't worry about the line you see. That is where the neck is cut to install the truss rod.

Jon
