So what's the best graphite lube? I haven't lubed mine & all 3 vintage trems maintain tune. Guess I ought to lube up on next string change?

To add something to the original post, the tuning stability can get very close to a Floyd setup however a Floyd will have a bigger range then a vintage type trem.[/QUOTE]

Well they're Fender strings, Pure Nickel and I have no problems with them. I've used EB's before but when I put a set on the Axis the D-Tuna was all over the map tuning wise. I adjusted it, reset it, stretched the string enough, did everything and it just wouldn't settle when I dropped to D and back again. I like EB strings, nothing against them.
