I was at the winter Namm show last year, and fell in love with the rosewood Axis. I begged Scott Ball to put these guitars into production. I wanted to buy the proto type, but that was a no way, not for sale thing. I bet some rich snob got that guitar.
Anyways, I had my order put in a week after the show and a few months later I had my Axis in my hand with a low serial number.
Has anyone bought one of these guitars and are they pleased with it?
I will be at Namm again in a few weeks and I hear that Ernie Ball is making a limited edition Axis in all black with gold trim. Now I am drooling for that guitar now. I already have 41 guitars. Scotty beam me up!

Black and Gold eh? Fancy! Reminds me of a beautiful old Aria that I used to have.
