I have several EBMM guitars, and I always gravitate to my axis sports.I have the MM90 and the HH...really great feel and sound from both.Back a few years ago, these fine all ash guitars came with a good variety of pickups...sss,sshb,mm90,hbhb.Any chance of a limited run of these little beauties in these pickup configs, with a certain color fixed to each pup choice,[to keep costs down]...their mojo is awesome.Flea bay is about the only place to find em now,and that*s pretty rare.I would love to get a brand spanking new sport a la sss.Any other sport obsessed nutbars out there....I also have the Albert, and silsp....not the same....I think I*ve been down this road before..

I have owned many EBMM's, including BFR's, over the years but my simple hardtail Sport has some magic that makes me play it the most...and it's by far the cheapest of the lot!

I don't think there's much chance of a re-run, but if there is, you have to have the pickguard!

My Axis Sport is definitely a keeper. Mine is SSS with Trem and indeed the ash body is really a great feature on those sports

Love my sport and would love to see them do something like it again, but the reality is they didn't sell well against the Super Sport so they went away. One can only hope that at some point they do an Anniversary Axis or limited edition Axis and incorporate some aspect of the sport into it... but I would be shocked to see them bring it back.

Doubt you'll see the return of the Axis Sport, I like em too. But with the Axis and the ASS it would seem that they've got that area covered.
