Axis Sport SSS????

Assumer's thread got me thinking.

Does anyone here have experience with the Axis Sport SSS compared to the Albert Lee SSS or Silouette Special SSS????

There is only one SSS to own and thats a BFR AL

I have both Axis SSS and Albert MM90 and had Silo Spec SSS

I let the Silo Spec SSS go as the in my opinion, the Albert MM90 was superior for my taste.

I had the opportunity to grab an Axis SSS and didn't think too much, I took it.

The sound is thiner than the Albert MM90, but still you have a lot of grain. The clean are pristine and crunch crisp. I think I like it more than the silo spec and I think mainly because of it's shape and because of the wood.

Both Albert MM90 and Axis SSS are using ash and it's really fit those axes so well.

I have tried the SSS AL. Nice guitar also and a different sound from the Axis SSS. I will say that AL is a typical vintage strat (but better) while the others Axis SSS, AL MM90 and Silo Spec are more modern Strat

Sorry foggy it's very hard to explain, but if you have a chance to grab one Axis SSS do it, AL is not discontinued neither is the Silo Spec
