I found this auction: eBay: '01 Custom Ernie Ball MusicMan Axis Sport (Artikel 130081164850 endet 27.02.07 19:19:49 MEZ)
Do you like this guitar? The text says it is "white sparkle" with light blue hardware. It needs a fretjob and one machine head is not working. It´s supposed, that the former owner is the guitarist of the "Diesel Boys" (? not very well known in europe) Look at the neck - no birdeyes?!? It wouldn´t be my favourite, also the price is not low. What do you think?

It's personally not my flavor, he has had that ebay a few times now trying too sell it, by the looks of it you can see why it's not selling.

He picked that thing up for like $800 or $900 US. It's a different piece.

That is just plain ugly. Now if someone were to buy it and put chrome hardware on it.....

Would EB trade the old hardware. Pickups the whole "sha-bang" for a regular chrome hardware and regular pickups plus money?

Now, now it's appealing to someone. It's different.

Hey is it hard to change out the bobbin covers?

Tim, I'm pretty sure that the first time it was on the Bay, it said that it was an Artist piece and was made that way at the factory.

Awful is being very polite!

Generally, I'm more polite. You know, it's the business of "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."

Now, now it's appealing to someone. It's different.

Hey is it hard to change out the bobbin covers?

Glenn |B)

Ah...the voice of tolerance. :D Usually, I prefer things the way the factory puts them out. I'm not one to customize much.

BTW, what's with the position markers. A couple are blue, but most are white?

As usual, this has come up before and I love it. I would have bought it at the $800 buy it now, but some guy in Europe bought it and is asking double. It was made for a guy in a band and the other guy in the band had one with silver sparkle and blue hardware.

I can't believe you guys like Autumn Red rise and rip on this so bad. THAT is the worst color. Buy hey, whatever boats your float.

I definitely appreciate your appreciation for sparkle. Some people don't like those at all. I would like to see one close up. I like the idea, maybe if it was a different color scheme, I'd be more into it.

I LOVE your black and red ASS.
