Axis SS Model Year

I recently bought an Axis Super Sport that had been at a shop for at least a couple years... perhaps more.
Does anyone know how I can determine what model year the Axis is?

Well, I'll try to get some pics up.
I've posted the SN - it is G23655.
Does anyone know how to decode the date of manufacture from the SN?
I always knew Australian's rocked - I hear Toni Collete has awesome chord crashes (that rival Pete Townshend).

The S/N's are random. Somebody will be able to give you the DOB soon enough on the SN sticky.
