It's a 4-pole 5-way switch with a long lever. There are a few you could find that might fit the bill, but to be safe your best bet would probably be to order them from MM directly.

The switches are fairly universal and I am sure you could order one from EB or get one from MOJO Parts Online. It's the guts of the electronics (circuitry and pickups that's proprietary). But your problem is not the proprietary things.

Either way, if you want to allow the guitar to hold as much resale value as possible, just make sure that the top of the lever looks like the one you have. That's my recommendation.

beej is right! I just compared the length of the levers... the one on my ASS is definitly longer. Otherwise this one would have worked, which I used for a new HH-pickguard for my Silo to clone the ASS-circuit:

Hello Ily,
AFAIK the replacement switch can easily be Schaller Super Switch. My guitar tech inspecting my Luke said they're cheaper when bought in bulks and super reliable. That's it i guess :)

I have a reg-ular 3 way switch on my ASS instead of the EBMM 5 way one, and when it was first fitted I remember thinking it was much shorter! I actually prefer it like that!

I bought new Axis SS with piezo 1 month ago. I am totally disapointet about harware.
Firstly, the 6 screws were missing where the plug in for jack cable is - there were only 2 screws.
Secondly, after 2 days of playing, the volume knob stop responding, sometimes it crackles... The volume knob is crackling while turning and there is no volume on some positions.
Thirdly, 5 ways swicther became very soft and smooth and I can not set it on properly position.
I wait now for new parts from U.S.A., because I live in Europe. The guitar is under warranty, but anyway. Music Man should not afford this....
Not thinking on that issuses, the guitar is perfect. I hope, I ll fix it soon as possible...
