I was also kidding Jimmy :)

BTW, did you guys noticed the single volume knob, the slanted middle neck pickup and toggle à la Axis ?

Are those prototypes or artist one off?

Nice pics, and I prefer no PG, but I prefer that on everything, though I own PG equipped models:)

Oh and Fogman you will never be just anyone to me!!:p

i tend to like guitars without the PG i think it just looks cleaner that way but i have owned guitars with PGs in the past...

Speaking of which, here is an HSS on ebay. I personally think these are ugly...but a good score for you guys that like em :).

Ugly? No way, I call Sports "retro cool"!

I've been through loads of EBMM's, including beautiful Ltd Eds and BFR's, but the little Sport SSS with a pickguard always stays... the cheapest EBMM I've ever bought remains my ultimate keeper!!!

I have to agree with you Steve, kinda modern vintage guitar or "retro cool" there is something mystic in those guitars, can't explain what it is but it's great :D

I've always said that the Axis Sports are the underdog of the EBMM line. They are like the little brother to the Axis or ASS. Great guitars for the money. I've had 3 of them, but they have either been HH or MM90's.

I personally prefer they're looks without the PG, but that's me.

With your aussie dollar being so strong you should snap it up ;-)

It looks too much like mine, bar the trem, to cause me GAS! Phew!

Sorry to bump such an old thread but does anyone remember what Single Coils they used? Were they really hot? I have a HSS Sport Hardtail and everthing appears to be stock, the bridge pup is 16K plus with a Black Back. Single are bright and loud.
