Hey Everybody!

I'm looking for some Axis Tone and was wondering if you could recommend some Artist's/CD's that use the Axis. Style of music doesn't matter to me, I love to listen to a wide range of styles.

Thanks!
John

EVH? :) Search for live versions. Also a forum member named "Alex Hunter" made some vids on Youtube playing his Axis/EVH signature. Sound pretty sweet.

Check out some of John Fogerty's most recent stuff...he's been playing a trans blue Axis in recent years.

John Denner is also an Axis player and a fellow Knucklehead here on the forum...he's an awesome player. You can catch him on You Tube as well.

Definitely check out John Denner on YouTube. He’s got a bunch of videos on there. You can also just do a search on YouTube for EBMM Axis.

Look at youtube for Kent Carlevi.

My favorite:

He also has some recent vids with his new BFR Axis.

Here's a local guy (well local to me) who was selling an axis with mm90s a while ago. He does a fairly good job going through the tones of the Axis while playing ZZ Top.

Good luck!

Thanks for the posts guy's I'm checking them all out. I do have a lot of VH and Steve Stevens in my collection. I think Eddie used it on For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, Right Here, Right Now and Balance CD's. Steve Stevens uses it but I'm not quite sure on what particular tracks or CD's that he uses it on. I did hear that Breaking Benjamin was thinking of jumping aboard with EBMM but not sure if it's true!?

Keep them coming!

Here's a cool Steve Stevens solo from last year for you:

RE: Steve Stevens

The fretboard is obviously maple but there are some shots where you can see the back of the neck and it appears darker ... rosewood neck with maple fretboard?

Might just be the lighting.

Monster tone regardless!
