Question Axis Tribute Stain/Clear Coat UV Resistant?

Greetings Forumites!

I have a somewhat recently acquired Axis Tribute. I was just thinking (as I had a mini Jam session on my balcony)... Did EBMM simply used the old stains (which would cause me to hide this guitar away in a dark place) or was there any update to the paint system used that included UV inhibitors?

Hmmm. I don't know why they would use old stain, but I guess it's possible. That said, I don' t think EBMM would ever want the color of their guitars to fade by exposure to UV. If they did, they wouldn't have changed their stain formula when they went from EVH to Axis.

The finish was updated from when they were originally produced, so there won't be any fading issues.
