There seems to be a few problems with the Axis Tribute and the D-Tuna, well actually it works quite well on this guitar with no problems at all, no worse and no better than a D-tuna on a normal Axis or a EVH. Here's the problem and it is an easy fix without shimming your neck or raiseing the Whammy about an inch. I saw the pic's and that guy should get a different job in another field. That was f***'d!!! Especially when it is a $2000 dollor brand new guitar.

Here's the problem, The Bridges fine tuners are put in too low, on the low E string fine tuner you must raise it without stripping the screw. The reason why is because they have crimped the fine tuner too low on the screws, and the reason why it is crimped in the first place is so you dont lose the screw from the bridge when your loosening the fine tuner.

Here's the fix, you must loosen the E String fine tuner!!! You must also use the long screw from the d-tuna kit also. Here's the catch though, be careful not to strip the screw or mark the sides of the screw with pliers.
Be Careful, I have done it with both my Tributes and they work great. Good Luck. Dont blame me if you F**k it up though.
