Does an Axis with arm rest exist even custome made?

If I liked to have an Axis but with armrest what other EBMM model will fit best?

Yes, the forearm scoop. The Reflex looks really great, never had the opportunity to play one. Does the neck have the asymetrical profile like the Axis?

The neck shape on the reflex is more like the one on the silhouette, so it's not asymetric. But it is a very comfortable profile.

Thank you. Due to small fingers the profile of my EVH matches so well, but I like to play a Reflex, no doubt it'll be great.

Is the Reflex available with natural headstock? (The combination of pacific blue burst, rosewood and natural headstock seems very nice to me.)

I don't think so. I think the Reflex only comes with the painted headstock. But, to be sure, I'd recommend calling EBMM customer service as they'd have all of the answers your looking for. As a new Reflex owner I can tell you that it is THE most comfortable guitar I've ever played. 12" neck symmetrical radius and a nice forearm scoop on it as well. The REALLY great thing is the number of different sounds this guitar can create - 10 in all with the different switch combinations. And those can all be tweaked with tone and volume adjustments. It is an AMAZING instrument.

Thank you, edhalen. And, yes, from what I heared in two reviews the Reflex has very nice tonal colours, looks great as well.

I know there's no custom shop but if I had the opportunity to choose colours and most important the neck profile it would've been an easy decision to grab a new EBMM guitar - that doesn't means the guitars are not great as they are, I'm just a little too specific on some things

Do they make a bad playing model? Lol...
Hehe, I don't think so. But, as you know, if you already found something that fit your needs very well...! All that came my way afterwards had to stand the test against the EVH neck, no one did. :)

If you really want a forearm contour on an Axis type guitar, I know Guitar Center's used section has a "rockstar" promo Sterling AX20 for very cheap. I bought one of these, stripped off the face vinyl, sanded and finished in tru oil. The body is all basswood and it would be a cheap way to make one with the contour. Take a belt sander to it.

That's a nice idea for a project. Basswood will be nice with the natural headstock and rosewood fretboard. You did some photos of that guitar?

Have you tried a HH Albert Lee? I was the same way with the Axis neck until I picked up my AL. Now a days I'm just as at home I the AL neck as I am the Axis neck. Same pickups as the Axis and the AL puts out some killer tones. Not as much attack, but if you already have an EVH/Axis it's a great compliment. May be more of what your looking for compared to a reflex neck.

Totally agree with Stratty. I used to own an AL HH, which I sold to buy my Axis, and the neck on those is simply amazing. I agree it doesn't have the same grunt as the Axis but you can cover loads of tones with the AL, especially the GC specials with coil taps. Try one out if you can.

Thank you, but, unfortunately, the AL body is not my "cup of tea". It's special and an eyecatcher, its sound is very nice but it doesn't fit for what I need the guitar. Nevertheless, I will give it a try, just for the neck, it's probably love at 2nd sight. :)

I sold my first AL almost 10 years ago because I couldn't get used to the shape of the body. When the HHAL came out I got hooked and fell in love with the shape. Sometimes it takes a moment to get used to the AL's shape... Wish I didn't sell the old one now...
