I posted a couple vids in the xmas thread but I thought I would create a thread for it.
I have a habit of messing around and recording acoustic.
I typically do vocals and guitar at same time to 2 independent channels then mix.
Gives that live feel and flow. I know recording seperately is better for the recording but I dont feel it carries the groove or the soul of the song.

If I could figure out a way to be able to play guitar and sing and seperate them from each other. Bleed on the vocal mic from the guitar is a pain sometimes.

I will admit as much as I love playing electric guitar.
I love the simplicity of acoustic guitar and also trying to adapt things to acoustic and also try to do something different.
I prefer how quick I can rattle out acoustic recordings.
I find I fuss over electric stuff too much.
It passes the time, sure beats watching eastenders.

I use POD X3 and Sony Acid.

effects, nothing really. usual stuff some EQ,compression and reverb.
