That's a classic disc, they won a grammy for that!

Even better LIVE :eek:

Lukes tone on that cd is brilliant, probably the best tone he has gotten, ever. It's like butter. :p

That cd is a must for Lukather/Carlton fanatics, like myself.

i think im going to put my axis back up for sale now, its the purple one with the floyd rose..the reason im selling it is because i dont like the floyd rose at all, i think its just a big pain in the butt so now im deciding on either getting a new axis or maybe something else, i like the axis alot but i want something with more of a tonal variety, but i still want the neck and wieght and i want to stick in the ernie ball family. any ideas on any other for under 1k? by the way i like to play soft slower christian songs, then i like to go into punk so i want a guitar that can do both

But l love my Lukes, get a killer distorted sound, and nice clean sounds, What amp are you using, btw?

The Luke comes with a floating bridge, but you can have it flat against the body, if memory servers me right, you just put the 3rd spring in and it pulls the bridge back.

I'd say check out a Luke, maybe a Luke with Piezo. Oh man l'm drawling over my keyboard now. :eek:

Hey it doesn't matter what gear you have, as long as it involves a Ernie Ball guitar that is. I used to use my Mums stereo, until l blew it up.

The Luke is a nice guitar though.

A mate of mine actually had an .mpg copy of a live show that they did, I think it was recorded from French TV. It was great although poor quality. I think he also had a CD copy of one of the concerts they did in Japan together. If you're interested let me know and I'll see if I can get copies.

There is a live CD with Luke, and Larry Carlton(one of my idols). It's recorded in Japan, and won a Grammy, and I think it is called Luke and Larry, but I could be wrong. KILLER Cd, and listen to Lukes tone.

Actually, it's called "No Substitutions" and it's an amazing CD! There are only five songs on it, but they'll blow your mind! :eek:

{edit: oops, missed page two before posting :eek: }
