I put EB flats back on my BigAL. I use it for when the worship set list doesn't require me to play bass-as-2nd-guitar parts. It feels good when I can just play to the beat. With the neck and middle pups on, the tone just sits nicely in support of everyone else.
Super slinkies on my Bongo5,Group III flats on SR5 fretless and GHS pressure wounds on my SR5 wich sound REALLY GOOD,old school thump with a little zing!
Oh, and flats. I've actually been spending the past couple months cheating on my flatwounds with a very young and all too bubbly set of slinkies.... But last night they came off and I made up with the old steady..... Man I forgot how smooth Ms. Flats is.... Oh and RICH too.
But alas the wife found out cuz we were making too much noise. I can't wait for our date tonight though..... Me, the flats... Oh, and the 25th in passive. (it's always such a tag along.... But I never mind, she's a looker too)
