Bad News Balls-Softball update!

Hi Guys,

Team EB, also known as the Bad News Balls have evened there record up at 1-1 on the year. After just missing out on the Championship game last season. The team has come back with the eye of the Tiger!! And the league is begining to realize "If you mess with the Ball's, you'll get bounced"! Special thanks to Brian, Derek, Maria, Scott, Beth, Tom, Fermin and Turtle for a game well played. I'll post our team pic once i get a chance!!

Actually we are really catching fire as a team....solid defense and heads up play on offense as well as around the base paths. Special thanks to BP for sponsoring the team!!!! The best part is that the softball complex serves Fat Tire!!

Kevin was injured

Poor Kev, that sucked. I would have thought that him colliding with Applescott in the outfield would have taught both of them to CALL IT, but they never do. I almost had a collision with Applescott in this last game, now I'm just annoying about calling the pop flies. "That's yours Kev!" "That's all you, Fermin!"

I enjoy the fact that "Applescott"s facial expression is exactly the same in the silly photo as well as the serious photo.

I happen to like outfield collision's ....... Despite the heavy load of titaniium holding my tibia and fibula together i try and give my 110% out there!! And im not going to let anybody get in the way of that(litterally)....ha,ha,ha,ha!! This season's injuries included.....a rotator cuff that constantly pops once raised above 90 degree angle.....a severely thrown out elbow......a bruised quadricep......and the non softball related injury of taking a full speed swing of racket ball racket to the face(that one took the cake)!!! Which resulted in two black eyes and a broken nose........approaching 28 and the metabolism is screeching to a hault!!

-Have you seen the beast that I drive? Not sure if I could afford driving out to Cat City ... seeing as I drive to Chokella everyday. hmmhee Maybe I could have Scotta win the lottery for me. He wouldn't be very stoked, but I would! I'll journey out to the field one day soon ....
