Ouch! Take care of that wrist & I hope you recover soon. I have a bass-playing buddy who broke his right arm, yet he continued to play bass...complete with the cast on his arm.
I feel your pain. Broke my left wrist snowboarding 2 years ago (I'm right handed).
Took about 2 months to get back to normal. Once the plaster is off, you'll find you'll have little flexibility in your hand. I could only play on the g string on the high frets at first. But every nite, I practiced scales moving further and further back towards the nut and towards the low strings with the eventual goal to play in low F. Its good physiotherapy
Ouch .. that completely changes the perspective ... Now all you can do at rehearsals is stand behind the drummer and slap him up the back of the head in time to the music ...
