Kudos. Very pro sounding and looking, both in writing and production. Hope you can find a great vocalist.

Thank you guys (and gals, if any)!!

It's been a lot of hard work and still so much to do before a release, but I'm confident we'll be happy by the end of it.

Yes, we obviously have the Dream Theater/Liquid Tension influence. :)
Maybe more so on this song than others.

A few of the other artists that influence our sound are Opeth, Metallica, Meshuggah, Frost*, Muse, Mudvayne, Porcupine Tree, Pain of Salvation, Pink Floyd, Neal Morse, Queen... You get the idea, it'd be a long list if I were to dig them all up.

Glad you liked the video.
Spread the word to your vocalist friends. Maybe mention it in school/college. Any help is appreciated!

I can't stop watching this video.

Step 1. Get a killer progressive metal band together - DONE!
Step 2. Record some killer tracks - DONE!
Step 3. Get a Singer who can totally rip
Step 4. Take over the world

LOL!

I wish it were that simple! I don't think anyone playing prog metal can "take over the world".

We've a lot to do other than "just" finding a killer vocalist.
This track is just a demo, and was the first to be recorded. We still have to demo all the other tracks before finalizing the arrangements/melodies/lyrics.

Other than that there's also the business side of it. Get under a label or go independant?; getting in touch with a few brands to set up some endorsement deals before recording (guitars, bass, drums, cymbals, strings, effects, mics and whatnot); pics, art, promo vids, websites (.com, myspace, youtube)...... whew!

Anyway, it'll all translate hopefully into an awesome release by the end of the year, and shows to follow.

Awesome and super tight as always Thiago! Great stuff bro! Just out of curiosity, which JP is your favorite or the go to guitar?

All the best,
Slav:)

My go to guitar is my Mystic Dream JP6. We bond nicely.
The others are awesome aswell but I play them less, in part because I use the 6 more than the 7, and the other 6 is tuned down to C (which we aren't using in the band yet).

I definitely want a copy of the album. So when it's done it would be great if you could let us know where to pick up a copy (either digital or otherwise).

Again, great work, Thiago.

@bkrumme: Sure man. As soon as it's available it'll be posted on forums and websites. ;)

@RocketRalf: Thank you for the link. It was a great read! That's pretty much how ours is planned out to be recorded, only with a smaller budget and no outside producers.
