Now I have received a few basses in my days but I was very impressed with the set up up of this right out of the bag so to speak....it was even in tune still....

Very nice - I always liked white - had a few pre-EB's in white way back when - shoulda kept all of them - was young and dumb.

Congrats on the new Sterling. I love that white/tort look. I wish they would have white PUP covers as an option. That would look sweet with a white pearl pick guard.

I tell you, I am extremely impressed with this bass, these basses are easily the best value for your money out there....Did a gig last night with it and it sounded great....nice punchy sound...toggled between the back p/u and both p/us most of the night and did one tune with coils 1 & 2 I think it was (more out of accident then anything) Really nice to be able to change up the sound with just a flick of the ole switch per se....

Really nice neck on these too its almost too fast, gonna take a lil more getting used too...

I have been wanting ever since another customer of Pete's had me try out his Dargie.....I knew then I needed one....

Really I cant say enough about Act1, Tom is a great guy who stayed open about an extra 30-40 minutes going over the ins and outs of tube amps with my Gal who is going to be in the market for one later this year. (that Pete guy is ok too.)

Those Act One boys are top notch. Except they keep teasing me with new gear and making me buy it! haha

In an effort of incredible strength, I have not broken down and found a way to buy the lefty 2007 Blue Dawn SR4 they brought in as a secret plot to torture me! But I'm getting weaker...by...the...minute!

Played a big benefit this Sat..used my #1 KL for the first set and the Sterling for the second....the sterling really works well in a large room with massive subs...punched through real nice. The KL is sort of jazzish in its set up so I was favouring the back pick up to get it to punch through which it did as well (but its a bass worth 5k it better sound good) I am immensly impressed with the value on these...The other bassist was playing a nat 89 Stingray that sounded great as well,,,,,,in mint shape too.
