Bakers Guitars

As an employee of EBMM I think I can speak for us all and say how stoked we are about Gene and Gil being here with us, and Warlocke and RDE and Ed roman can go back under the rock from which they came

I like that, crawl back in that dark hole...Nice work!

Oh yeah, did I say good luck yet...

Gene,

I hope you don't mind my cutting and pasting your reply to RDE and Warlocke onto the PRS Forum. Many of us are watching this whole thing over there too. No matter what axe we're slinging, us geetar players are behind you.

Gene,

I actually think tremendous good will come from this; for you, Gil, EB and all GENE Baker guitar enthusiasts.

It appears that this whole matter has become personal. I sense that there is now a lot more than a business incentive to build the best damm guitars on the face of this planet.

I look forward, with much anticipation, to your future creations at Ernie Ball.

Let's now give what those "other guys" deserve. . . the silent treatment.

(Proud owner of seven Gene Baker guitars)

Hmmm? Could it be true..??
Maybe I should point out that the above is merely a combination of wild speculation fueled by wishful thinking :D

I've known Gene and Gil for a bit and see nothing but good things in the future for them both and EB.
Wild West Guitars has a very loyal group of customers and they as well as myself can't wait to see what comes out of the oven.
I've been playing a long time and Bakers are it for me.
I'm not buying into the Pre-EB thing that I have seen other dealers doing in an effort to reap some short term boost to their bottom line.
yesterday, today, tomorrow...Bakers will always kick ass.
It's not just where it's built, it's the spirit that goes into it.

Ed Roman...What a piece. I see him buying the Baker name as just another nail in his coffin. What could he hope to gain.
MORON..It's called "kharma". What goes around, comes around.
When it comes for you, you can be sure it won't smell real good.

Baker lovers throughout the land, join me won't you...RDE, Warlocke, Ed,..."screw you and each other"

I will now get off of my soap box.

Might as well delete the whole thread. I think only the mods should be allowed to delete...makes people think twice about what they actually post...

In this case I would have to agree that the mods should only have been able to delete. Too much information is missing now.

At least the guy is outta here though, mission accomplished :D

I don't understand what JDouglee and Jimmy D are talking about.

Speculation of what?

The first EB/MM set-neck design, courtesy Gene and Gil (and Dudley et al?). What else :D

Jimmi D,

Are you and JDouglee saying that you don't believe EB will be comming out with a a new line of set neck guitars? That it's all wild speculation on our part. What do you think Gene and Gil are doing over there... sanding and assembly work?

yep

typical Romanesque drama...what a fraud.

Too bad those original RDE/Warlocke posts were all deleted so people can't see the BS this evil little bearded weirdo tried to pull...

Too many bloodsuckers in this business, calling themselves "luthiers" and claiming this, that and the other thing while spending the money Daddy left 'em...

I'm psyched to be here with y'all, got the second boat over from the "Baker forum"...H.A. and Vegas Greg took the first one and they had to stop and restock the bar for the return trip...

Wow, sarcasm... charming... You know dirk, if you read my posts in this thread to date, I'm clearly suggesting that Gene and Gil will be designing and building the first set-neck axe with the EB label on the headstock, and that I enthusiastically await it's release, because I freakin' want one, and that I'd rather eat worms than do business with EdR...

Anyway - in regards to the hopefully imminent release of the set-neck EB-Baker - since I don't have any facts, I wanted to couch any suggestion that I might know what I'm talking about with a relevant disclaimer, in case someone might actually be foolish enough to think I have some insider info or something. JDouglee is merely voicing his own hope for a wonderful new guitar from Gene and Gil and everyone at EB - essentially agreeing with me... Of course, the possibility that somebody would turn the meaning and intent of the message completely inside out never entered my mind until you started posting. I'll try to be more clear in the future. Maybe I'll use smaller words or something.

PS, my handle isn't that hard to spell, but so far you're three for three in the screwitup stakes... Try harder, would ya dick... um, I mean dirk?
