That is unbelievable. I just called Ed Romans webmaster yesterday to have him pull a picture they had up there of the Baker Crucible prototype. A picture I took myself of a guitar we own.
This is going to come around and bite him on the ass.

Yes its 110% official !

I hate this dude !

Ebony necks huh ? Good luck shaping those by hand jerko . And this guy must have his own rating system for wood as well .

If you take everything off of that list that sounds stupid . You would still have 1/100000000000000000 of what we were already doing with the
"Real Baker Guitars " At least everyone who is in the know . Knows Gene and Gil have nothing to do with this "short bus rider " This clown has got me all fired up ! Im need to go play my bass .

surprising virtually no one here

Yes, I believe we all knew this was coming...this is a guy who makes much money from people out of the country who have trouble with the translation of "BS".

Of course, the extent of his experience as a "luthier" is signing the checks for the electric bill. And also notice how the list of improvements/standard features no longer includes Tone Pros bridges...maybe the Tone Pros legal team should prepare a patent enforcement action before "Warlocke" bridges appear on the horizon???

There are also cases of public record in the state of CT about trade-in guitars being mysteriously claimed as "broken" in shipping and parted out, screwing both the trade-in person and the shipping company. Ask Brown, they might know something about this mysterious and nefarious practice?

Must be nice to have Daddy leave you a fortune, so that when you drive your two companies head-first into the ground, you can start a third one, then move it across the country when the local Better Business Bureau is on your ass....

Partnering with Ed Rowman may be his second mistake but by far the worst one.
Best guess is he'll end up like ground sausage, occasionally Karmic law works.
I don't know what this whole Baker thing is about having read this and wish someone would explain, but all the same could care less EB/MM are fine as is am I will be forever loyal as long as nothing changes for the worst.
Hello to whom I guess are new EE/MM employees if I understand this right. I'm an ex-Curbow employee.

DAMN!

I just read Gene's rather vitriolic post about this Warlocke idiot.

Gene, you are the man. Now figure out how to get that goofy AssDoctor guy to take a bath and life will be grand!

What's the plan for NAMM, fellas?

Ed Roman is a complete A$$hole! i called there once to talk about possibly purchasing a axe from there and they told me to call back they were going to lunch! WTF? what kind of buisness is that? he goes on and on about how crappy PRS and Gibson and Ibanez are etc.. yet look how successfull they are? they sell thousands of outstanding guitars! if his guitars are so much better then why doesn't anyone buy them? while i'll admit some of them are beautifull looking instruments *i've never played one* everyone seems to complain and rip on them on www.harmony-central.com even the few that like his guitars still say he's an A$$hole! just go read what people have to say.

i know, read some of the others, Ed seems to have a awesome ability to "loose" peoples things and take 2-3 times longer than stated to build something. read the review about the custom 7 string, the dude likes the guitar, but Ed did "loose" the guitar he sent in as a model. i guess Ed just assumes everyone is giving him stuff as a gift........................

just thought i'd post this up, i found a bit ago. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2564730314&category=2384 again its a very nice looking guitar with a great top, altho i don't like the headstock design and the way the "roman" inlay was done on it makes it look like a beginners guitar............and the lightning bolt inlays??? two things come to mind.........Spandex and and aqua-net. totally bogus.

:D
