Its definitely not like a neck heavy SG just different. Any thoughts or tips?

I had a RW ASS with hardtail bridge and it was neck heavy. Maybe one with vintage tremolo or floyd would be better balanced?
I used wide leather strap but it didn't help.

You know I've given it some time and I really have fallen in love with the guitar, the balance and all. Its different I'll say that much, but compared to a neck heavy SG I picked up one day its a million times better balanced. This guitar has a small light body and a thicker neck than the Ibanez I was just used to that for years. I'm completely happy with the EBMM :). What a great company, great guitars and group of people here.

I'm gonna try getting a good leather strap. What are good straps?

I've also been quite taken with Couch straps recently. They aren't leather, but they are usually vintage vinyl from old cars and luggage, remade into guitar straps. I have the Byloos Victorian, in black and brown.

I own a 25th, which is basically a slightly bigger ASS, with a forearm contour.

Wonderfully comfortable.

But I also owned a JP, and it flat own PWNS every other guitar I've ever played in my life. The JP is perfect ergonomic balance.

THe only EBMM i've never played is a Morse. So I can't say anything about that.

Nice pictures on the Moody site ...
But I am always suspicious when a brand feels obliged to show naked ladies for selling their products ...
Besides, it's leather ... animal skin ... I prefer the pics from the PETA

:D as far as I understand the half naked model is also the owner of the company. So it's a all about creating a buzz

But I doubt BP will do something similar :p

As for the balanced of EBMM guitars nothing to say it's perfect both Basses and Guitars (at least for the model I know)

For me it's not so much the balance of the Axis, but as others have stated the lack of forarm contour takes a get of used to. I view the Axis as the workman-like hunk of wood that you need at gigs. Great for causing physical injury on stage invaders... mind you, I think mines the heaviest on the forum...

My Silo Spec and especially the Luke feel like they were made specifically to fit my body- effortless... but I do keep grabbing for the Axis on the way out to gigs (that's a figure of speech by the way- I actually lovingly place it in its case haha).
