I'm not a bass player, but I have that pic on my desktop right now!
It's just such a beautiful sight!

What a wonderful collection. Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't the 2008LE have the new production alnico pickup in it. I curious how it sounds vs. ceramic vs. the 20th tone block alnico.

From what I can hear, there isn't a huge difference, but it is subtle. I only have one other single H, so I'll have to try and do a comparison at the next gig.

Well I got the family together today to greet our newest addition. Now we eagerly await the arrival of their sister (Sterling 5 Trans Orange)

Damn that is tight bro. Those HH 5's are the cats pajamas. Now if I could only find someone w/ an HH 20th in rosewood that would trade for a single H I would be in heaven!

Could you talk about the H vs HH in your SR5's? Do you play the HH more? Is the single H obsolete now? Curious 'cause I have a single H and love it and I want to get more...never played a MM bass with two pickups.

2 totally different animals. You can't run the humucker in series/parallel mode in the HH series. The HH can get you a lot of different awesome tones and the Single is a punch on the gut. Both Awesome and both totally different. I can't see any one being obselete...for me anyways

+1

The H model does give more punch, but honestly it I could trade my (2) H's for HH's I would. I just really love the tonal pallete I get from the HH's. What do you guys think?
