We just had a discussion on a dutch forum about physics in a guitar pickup and ended up with the band name Eddie Current & The Fields. Excellent name though I highly doubt 1% of the audience gets it ;)

There's quite a few "Kevins" on the forum - if you fall into that category then "The fabulous Kevins" would be a suggestion?

The Covers
Chief Whatawhopper & the Scrotum Poles (smacked wrist Kevin!!)
Monkey Mask (17th Century court musicians often played with masks on - one theme was Monkey Masks)
Katalyst
The Membranes

Jeez I'm just thinking out loud!!

While on the Physics names, how about "Ray Tracing and the Virtual Image"?

No?

I'll show myself out.

(a take off from Rhode Island reversed) People will get it and if most of your gigs are in the mini state, they'll likely appreciate the local flair. You Rhode Islanders stick together (and you talk funny) :)
