Agree with all the bands already mentioned, but with one noticeable omission - the greatest southern rock back of all time that my wife is taking me to see next year - Lynyrd Skynyrd (both original and current lineup).
My first gig was in 1974 in Cardiff - Thin Lizzy - classic lineup Scott Gorham/Brian Robertson.
Must say Bon Scott era AC/DC rocks my world.
