Bands Reforming

i agree i saw page and plant on tour in the uk and they were great,i dont mind bands reforming but it helps if they put out a new album as well,but on the other hand ive heard creed are reforming i lkie mark tremonti a ecellent guitarist but not keen on that frontman stapp he,s got such a ego problem!,but what frontman hasent had one in the past

Tremonti has really picked up his game (guitar playing wise), l don't really see Creed's comeback really working, Van Halen's reunion with Sammy Hagar would seem like it would have less drama's than this reunion.

Scott Stapp is just a s!!t singer and then there's he's drinking problem, his ego, and him being a wife beater too. They should just continue with Alter Bridge, a much better band Mile's is a much better singer.

I agree, much rather have a new Alter Bridge album and tour rather than a Creed reunion, hopefully it'll be business as usual for Alter Bridge once the Creed tour is out of the way.
Most of the time I am pretty cynical about reunion tours, sometimes it is better to leave the past where it belongs ... in the past. However would have loved to have seen Van Halen with Roth on the last tour.
All depends as well if they go out rehashing a 'Greatest Hits' package, or if they produce and tour with new music.
As one of the members of the reunited Spandau Ballet said ... "money is a great healer"!

I gotta tell you, I caught the VH/Roth thing in Montreal. Unfortunately, it didn't work as well as I had hoped. I was a big VH fan before Sammy - and to this day I still prefer Roth's vocals. However the show just had no 'magic'. It was cooler to be able to say that I saw them together then it was to actually see them together. It felt more like I was watching a cover band.

I caught the VH/Roth reunion in LA and I kind of felt a similar thing. It was cool to see them with Roth, but it was missing something. I think the missing link was Michael Anthony, not that Wolfgang Van Halen didn't hold his own on bass... but I always thought Mike was the glue that held it all together. Anyone gonna go see Chickenfoot?
