QUEEN!!! The one headed by Freddie, not Paul Rogers.

Boy am I with you on that! Me and our drummer (we both love Queen, particularly early Queen) have that convo alot. Ya know, we agree that perhaps, just maybe, if John deacon was involved then you could say it's understandable. I remember hearing Bob Geldof say that those songs deserve to be played. He said to just get some unknown kid with an amazing voice and get out there and they should just play. Good idea I thought. And I have nothing against Paul Rodgers. I love his voice. But they really shouldn't be calling themselves Queen. I wonder sometimes what the youngsters of today make of this old blond haired guy with shades and this tall guy with curly hair calling themselves Queen.

There are even rumours of them recording in the near future under that banner. It makes the Beatles stuff forgivable as John Lennon was posthumously on it. I just can't understand what Roger Taylor and Brian May are thinking. I really can't. It's so sad.

I would imagine that they are calling it Queen, as EMI would not spend money promoting it otherwise.
