Bass Cabs: 2 x 10 or 1 X 15?

A single 210 misses some bottom end I think. I used to play with a Fender Combo with a single 15", sounded really deep and warm, but it always sounded a bit the same (if you know what I mean).
I now use a single 410 (EBS, so it's a good 410:d), and this thing does all I want and need

my school has a 1x15 and my bass teacher uses a 2x2 no name cab.

the 1x15 is an ashton, so im not looking for perfect quality to begin with.

but this old home made 212 of my bass teachers is cool, it doesnt have quite the same ammount of "oomph" on the E or B strings, but it has a rounder, punchyer tone for all notes. crips highs, clean mids, and the 212 gives each not a more defined sound, the notes dont drift off into each other like with the 115.

Carvin makes a single cabinet that houses a 1x15 AND a 2x8? Does anyone else make such a cab? Or does anyone make a cab w/a 1x15 and a 2x10?

Peavey used to make a 1516 cab which was 1x15 and 2x8. I have one that I keep at my practice space - it's a nice combination, although I have to admit I bought it because it was cheap.

I run a pair of Bag End 15s and am happy, but wouldn't mind trying a 2x10 with one of my 15s. The only problem is that Bag End doesn't make an 8 Ohm 2x10, or at least they didn't the last time I looked.
