Bass Central is hands down the coolest store of any kind I have ever been to and the staff are wonderful to deal with. They will basically let you noodle on anything in stock at virtually any volume until closing time. I gotta get over there more often.

+1

They were so nice when bought my Sterling from them, I didn't bother to go anywhere else when it came time to buy my new rig. After spending a couple of hours deciding on the head, (SVT-4 PRO--they even had new AND used ones to choose from :D ) they let me spend practically the whole afternoon experimenting with cabs until I found the perfect match! (An Eden 410XST-- a single cab that can handle almost every single watt the 4-Pro puts out!)

They have what must be one of the largest collections of EBMM basses in one place in the universe! (well, outside of SLO, anyway!)

Good folks, definitely!:)

just got my new 30th fretless, and holysh!t it's nice.
It was packaged extremely well, with bubble wrap around the bass (inside the sexy vintage case), and around the ends of the case inside the box.
Yet again, another ray I buy makes it all the way to korea and manages to be intune when I pull it out of the box!
...granted it wasn't perfectly intune, but the G was a G on my tuner, D was a D..etc.
Great place to buy a great bass!

Just so that Dargie Bongo 4H isn't mine! Check that list twice! ;)

Nope wasn't yours but was another one but that was also snapped up by Squidlizard. I got a liitle phone time in with El Bovine the other day and cleared up a few questions I had like who was customer "Hell if I Remermber" on the spreadsheet and I boiled it down to these instruments still being available but that's it.

Bongo 5 HS
SR4 HS DD 4 MHS
Stingray 4 HH DD 4 MHS
SR5 HH DD 5 non MHS
Sterling HH DD 4 MHS
Albert Lee DD 6 MHS
Silo Special DD 6 non MHS

Hey Steve,

Saw this here and on your board...I hope you are still showing my order for an albert lee, MHS, w/ tremelo? I feel a bit uneasy when i see an AL show up as available.

Nothing to worry about, Bob-san. Steve has copies of all my paperwork and you're right there!

Correction .. as I always joke .. they have way more basses than us - especially since all the ones we have are already sold!
