I had about $150 saved up to get some effects, but I got to thinking. That is about 12% of what I need to get myself an EB 5 String. I think I am going to hold off!

24v not required.
I run mine @ 18v off my Dunlop DC Brick ... no problem and no wall wart needed. Sweet chorus!!

Hmmm i never thought of that! I use a Pedal Power so I had to use a custom cable which uses two 9v power points which actually only provides 18v as well. Funny as the adaptor that comes with the pedal is 24v.

Yes, Diamond's Halo Chorus comes with a 24v wall wart adaptor, but it also runs just fine @ 18v from a pedal board power unit. In fact, Diamond mentions this on their web site.

Diamond Guitar Pedals

WARNING: If you do try running @ 18v from your board, be advised that the power input on this pedal is reverse polarity (tip positive), so depending on your rig, you may need to use a reverse polarity adapter.

I use this on the Halo, on Diamond's phase pedal and new bass compressor (all tip positive pedals):

Hope this helps.
Cheers!
