Bass compare

Hello from Ukraine!
I have 2 variants of Musicman stingray basses, black and blue, in different cities. There is no way to listen them online, only when I arrive in another city. So guys im rlly interested in your opinion about these basses) black or blue ahah, and what I should look firstly on bass before buying

1) 2009 - serial number E67764 1300$



2) 2001 - serial number E21155 1250$ + ernie ball strap

Not much difference. The newer one has the compensated nut. Otherwise its your choise which finish you like better.

As said they are both pretty similar so sound wise not much if any difference.
On face value I’d have the teal one but hands on test who knows. You won’t be disappointed with either

Ok, finally bought that green StingRay 2001, Sounds cool, looks nice, now I will find those stingray sounds
And I want strings tuned very low, for growl ahah

Plenty of reading on here regarding remedies for that

IMO. Keep the bass control no more than 75%. Keep treble control higher than the bass control.
