Just read the review. Very positive, almost glowing. Nothing wrong with it that I saw. Who needs a editor's award?

I'm not saying the criticism of BP's usual review process is false, I'm just saying that picking on this review in particular is a bit unfair considering the praise they're giving EB's two newest basses.

Just my 2 cents!

I just wanted to add that I've seen some BP reviews that IMO were actually very objective and well-written.

They've pointed out in those cases the flaws they noticed in both basses and amps, and allowed for a Mfr. response, so I don't feel the reviews are entirely veiled endorsements for paying advertisers.


As for Big Al (and just about any MM bass) looks, feel, playability, tone are always subjective, but the build and tonal qualities of the MM basses-

C'mon now- They hang with any bolt-on bass in the Universe, and that's a purty big place!
