I thought rule #1 was "Always make sure the guitar player is level so the drool is evenly distributed between both sides of his mouth."

EDIT: Apparently, rule #2 is "Buy the guitar player a calender so he knows it's Thursday." :D

Yeah, I'm sure he was. But, since it wasn't explicit, I thought I'd add another zinger. ;)

Besides, I still cry myself to sleep that I can't be there. :(

If I do end up playing that night, anyone can feel free to upstage me. I'll be so nervous I probably won't have much stage presence.. I'll be happy to make it through the songs without messing up, or getting GONGED! :D

I'm no Vic Wooten...but I'm no Danny Partridge, either. Guitarists: better have your game on for the classic rock segments!

BTW, if by "upstaging" you mean going the Joe Nerve/Bovine/PsychoWard route...no worries here. The stage is all yours.

I don't imagine Dudley or Jon or NorM are worried about being upstaged by ME.

They might be a little worried about that drummer, though.

Since I hate to fly my gear anymore could somebody secure an instrument for me?

B3's are too much trouble but I can play the beer bottle, that's right the beer bottle. I prefer the long neck Bud bottle, the Heinehen bottle doesn't have a good tone, but I'll work with whatever I can get.

This is not a joke! I've been a bottleist for many years.

I've thought about sending David Letterman a video for the "stupid human tricks" segment but I'm holding out for an endorsement from Budweiser.

Send me a wish-list of AB songs you want to cover; I'll let you know what I've got down and what I can find on Napster/Yahoo Music.

BTW, does anybody know the guitar/bass ratio? I know that I'm hooked up with Mike Teves for his set, but if bass is outnumbered, we can have a revolving bass list.

Of course, we're in trouble if the bassturds outnumber the geetards...may have to do "Big Bottom"!:D
