After my SR5, I'm now starting to look getting a new 4 stringer. How does the Stingray 4 string compare to the Sterling? Which is more vesatile? Which of the two sound closest to the SR5?

If you're looking at a single H, then the Sterling would be more versatile as it's got the series/parallel switching option, but if you're looking at an HH or HS pickup configuration, then I believe they are both equal (in versatility, not sound). They're all great, but not all of us can afford them all.
