Baton Rouge Forum Bash Cancelled due to hurricane

Hello Kids

After a lengthy conversation with James at The Perfect Bass it was decided that due to the horrible damage that Hurricane Gustav inflicted on Baton Rouge that we would not be able to guarantee a suc essful bash there.

Given the short notice and the inability of us being able to locate a local host we are going to have to postpone the bash until next year. Sorry about this but I just cant do one unless it is perfect and I cannot figure out how to due it this year in another place

Sad that we cant support the city but very understandable especially with another on the way that could cause more damage, hopefully all will be well in LA and look forward to 09, cause I will be there, thanks for all you do.

From the news we get here, one would think the whole state was just dealt a glancing blow from Gustav. I guess if it doesn't happen in New Orleans it doesn't make the news. Take care down there guys.

I just read yesterday that many folks in BR may be without power until the end of september. Apparently thousands of poles are down.

Bad situation. Hope it gets better soon for all those affected in the area.

Looking forward to next years party.

Thankfully my budget airline is so slow I was able to cancel tickets (My fault BP did say don't book!)

UK bash 09 is where it's at - all that Sun and stuff would screw me up - give me rain and a cup of tea that costs £4 anyday!

Blind Lemon has something up his sleeve for 09....... I can smell it !
