I have a problem with the battery ... the guitar makes a crash sound ... I have seen that the battery case is ruined and is not making a good contact with the battery. I thought to change it with a battery connector that is used in the pedals

It's possible for the little copper connectors in the battery compartment to bend slightly, not making proper contact with the battery. I have, on occasion, just pried them up slightly with a small screwdriver to make better contact.

But you could certainly install a different connector. You would have to remove the battery box, and then keep the battery secured in the compartment somehow.

How is the battery case 'ruined'? did an old battery leak in it? Do you have any pictures of the battery compartment?
