Battery lifetime: result

I have concerns about this as well. Has anyone ever experienced a 9 volt leak while in the bass?

There was a thread about that. I think it was musicmannut who had some issues with basses in storage.

I will normally change the battery in my SR5 once a year. Why? Just because. I keep a calendar gig book and write this kind of stuff down every year. I gig the bass maybe 50 times a year and practice with it, in addition to a couple of other basses that I have.

Well during practice a few weeks ago, I was getting very fuzzy, distorted tone through my headphones. Changed the battery and crystal clear once again. I checked my calendar book and it had been 14 months since the last battery change.

I only use Duracell batteries.

Yes, fortunately not in an EBMM

Well..I can tell the difference between EVERREADY and DURACELL....
