Well it is finally complete, as soon as I bought this AL I decided to make a few changes, so I replaced the bridge PUP with a Seymour Duncan JB Jr., replaced the pickgaurd with a Black Pearloid and changed the tone and volume knobs with the ones on a Luke, and I love the result and it was fun, never thought I would mod an EBMM, and I learned a few things as well.

Thanks to Beej for answering my tech questions and thanks JefferyB for getting me the pickguard and Jeffery tell your son thank you for the picture he drew:)

If anyone is interested in the PUP, pickguard and knobs, send me a PM sure we can work something out.

Now PICS!

Fing...it looks awesome!

Are you sure you want to part with the stock PUP? Ya know...in the very minor chance you may want to sell it, you can put it back to original form for resale value concerns.

Just a thought...

Thanks, I really like it, and as far as selling it nope not happening, the pics I took are not that great, i wil post some better ones later, as soon as I got this one I knew it was a keeper, just wanted to make it more to my liking so selling the stock PUP is no big deal.:)

Keith...it looks great!!!
I love the pearloid pickguards...it adds SO much to an already beautiful guitar.

I thought you might enjoy Julian's artwork....he's such a sweet and cool kid!

Take care....and thanks for everything!

Fingbeagles - I gotta say, I would suggest keeping the original pickup at least. The knobs and pickguard are no big deal, but that pickup will change the resale value for the worst, and all guitars are keepers until they aren't. I myself swapped the pickups out a couple times on my AL and while I eventually found a set of lindy fralins which I LOVE, I know that not having the original pickups or the silent circuit hurts the resale of my guitar, which I now sort of want to sell because other aspects of life have simply taken precedence.

Just my .02. :)
