Not having any feedback, or very little feedback, will almost always stop me from bidding on something. In this case, I asked the seller if I can pick the guitar up direct. He hasn't replied yet, but if he says no then I won't make any more bids. (It will cost more to pick it up than to ship it, but the piece of mind is worth it.)

I rarely buy anything on eBay without contacting the bidder first. Important to (try and) know who you're dealing with on a purchase.

Still holding at $800 with 2 hours and change left on the clock... tempting, but I've already burned through my toy funds for this month. :(

for some reason the top two bidders retracted their bids in the last minutes of the auction. wonder what is up? another silo spec hit ebay or? the seller is not sound?

They two top bidder could have been friends trying to bump up the price over the reserve to get others to bid on it.

And seller told me that the case was damage because of a heater, aaying the guitar was not in at the moment the case was damaged. I have asked for photos of the case and got no reply

Wait and see if the sellers will contact me and be cautious ...
