Beatles Remastered

Yeah I'm excited about this too!
I'm thinking the box set. :rolleyes:
What's interesting is that they are releasing both mono and stereo versions of each album. I automatically assumed I'd buy the stereo versions, who needs mono? But then a friend put me on to this article which talks about how the Beatles weren't interested in the stereo mixes and only hung around for the mono mix, meaning that the mono mixes have extra material in them (melodies, instruments etc.) and (apparently) sound better...
Will have to wait to hear samples but it's got me thinking.
Here is the article I mentioned;

Sorry Stereo, But Beatles in Mono Rocks a Lot More | Gizmodo Australia

Apple Records sued Apple Computer for trademark infringement. As a result Apple Computer agreed not to go into music products, and Apple Records agreed not to go into computers. Then Apple Computers went into the Itunes and Ipods, etc. Apple computers was sued again, and paid $25 Million plus. Then a deal was negotiated where Apple Computer bought out Apple Corp. trademarks. All's well that ends well.

Now maybe the Beatles catalog will appear on Itunes.
