thanks everyone! I like to call it "still life with palm leaves".

was totally struggling finding a good background for the pic and gave up and started trimming the palm trees outside. then I saw all the leaves on the ground and thought "wow, that looks cool". hence, the pic!

now, aren't you not allowed to throw palm leaves in the trash? what to do?!?!
